Fabric and Inks

All our fabrics are designed and hand screen printed by us, using water-based inks

Fleece:
This fabric has a soft feel Anti pill face with a brushed back and is manufactured from 100% polyester.

Jersey:
Our jersey is 100% Cotton and comes in two weights which we refer to as ‘Single’ and ‘Double’ in our product descriptions, one is a single Cotton jersey with a weight of 140gsm, and one is an interlocked Cotton jersey with a weight of 185gsm. What this really means that some of our hoodies may have slightly thicker jersey than others, for example our jersey hoody dress uses double jersey for the main part for extra strength and shape.

Stretch jersey:
We use two different fabrics for our stretch leggings, our viscose elastane is UK knitted and dyed, and is slightly lighter weight than our cotton elastane. Our cotton elastane come to us in black or white and is then dyed here at our studio for the bright colours of the girls leggings.

Inks:
All our screen printing is done with water based inks which are kinder on the environment than traditionally used plastisol inks. Plastisol inks contain PVC and phthalates which are harmful to the environment, they also require harsh solvents for washing the screens meaning even more damage. By using water based inks we know that we are helping to look after both our customers and our world.

Washing instructions
Our clothing is machine washable up to 40° and we recommend air drying.
If needed, iron on the jersey side, all our prints can be safely ironed over due to the water based inks we use.
Do not iron over fleece.
